Passion fruit syrup brings a vivid tropical note to cocktails, desserts and non-alcoholic drinks. The syrup is a concentrated blend of fruit extract and sugar, standardised to a pourable consistency that disperses evenly in cold or hot liquids. Its intense flavour and bright colour come from the natural compounds in passion fruit, without artificial dyes or preservatives. When stirred into a drink, the syrup dissolves quickly, creating a smooth gradient of colour and a balanced sweet-tart taste that carries the signature aroma of ripe passion fruit.
To use the syrup, measure the required volume with a jigger or dosing pump. In the Exotic Breeze cocktail, 20 ml of syrup is combined with mango nectar and cranberry juice over ice, then finished with lime and fresh fruit garnish. The same syrup can be drizzled over ice cream, swirled into yoghurt, or mixed into sparkling water for a quick fruit spritzer. Because the syrup is shelf-stable and pre-sterilised, it requires no refrigeration until the bottle is opened.
The 1 litre bottle is made of clear glass with a tamper-evident aluminium cap. The narrow neck and smooth pour spout allow controlled dispensing, reducing waste in a busy bar or kitchen. A single bottle yields approximately fifty 20 ml servings, making it practical for medium-volume operations.
Once opened, the bottle should be stored in a cool cupboard and used within three months. The cap should be tightly closed after each use to prevent contamination and preserve the flavour. No special cleaning is needed beyond rinsing the spout with warm water if syrup crystallises around the opening.
This passion fruit syrup is listed in the 1883 professional range under the cocktail and dessert ingredients category.
