The ILVE HCBI906TC is a professional plus induction hob, measuring 90 cm in width. This hob features six cooking zones, all of which are induction compatible.

Induction hobs operate by using electromagnetic fields to directly heat the cookware. When a compatible pan is placed on a zone, an electrical current is passed through a coil beneath the surface, generating a magnetic field. This field induces a current within the base of the pan, causing it to heat up rapidly. The hob surface itself remains relatively cool, as it is only heated by residual heat from the pan.
