Class A hood Pro Line.
A cooker hood removes airborne grease, smoke and steam at the source, preventing them from spreading across the kitchen. It draws contaminated air through a filter or duct, trapping particles before the air is either expelled outside or recirculated. The motor drives a fan that creates suction, pulling air upwards into the hood. The volume of air moved per hour determines how quickly the atmosphere is cleared, while the fan speed controls the intensity of extraction. This process keeps the workspace visible, reduces odours and maintains a comfortable temperature for staff working at the hob or grill.
The ILVE Pro Line AGK100 is mounted above the cooking area. The operator selects one of four fan speeds using the controls on the front panel. Speed 1 provides gentle extraction for simmering or light frying, while the intensive setting handles high-output cooking such as searing or wok work. Front LED lights illuminate the worktop, allowing the chef to monitor the food without shadows. When the cooking session ends, the hood continues running for a short period to clear residual steam, then the operator switches it off.
The hood is constructed from AISI 304 stainless steel, a corrosion-resistant alloy that withstands the heat and humidity of a professional kitchen. The case measures 1000 mm wide, 450 mm deep and 80 mm high, fitting above a standard 100 cm hob. A 15 cm outlet hole at the top connects to a chimney for extraction, or the unit can be configured with recirculation filters. The chimney width is 33 cm, matching the outlet diameter for a secure seal.
The 180 W motor drives the fan, moving up to 630 cubic metres of air per hour. At the highest setting, the hood reaches 630 m³/h with a sound level of 55 dB, comparable to normal conversation. Lower speeds reduce noise and energy use when full extraction is not required. The energy class A rating indicates efficient operation, lowering electricity consumption during long service.
Cleaning involves removing and washing the grease filters, wiping the stainless steel surfaces with a damp cloth and checking that the LED lights remain free of grease build-up. Optional accessories include a stainless steel back panel for additional protection and replacement filters for the recirculation version.
The AGK100 is available in extraction mode, which vents to the outside, or filtering mode, which recirculates air through activated carbon filters. The product is categorised under professional cooker hoods in the ILVE Pro Line range.
